The Arizona State University College Republicans provide an online version of the club constitution to allow potential members, current members, other organizations, and the press to better understand its mission and operation. This document is also where members can find the responisbilities deligated to each position on the Executive Board in the event a member wishes to hold office in the club. Below is the most recent version of the Arizona State University College Republican Constitution, available for download as a Microsoft Word document. Arizona State University College Republicans Constitution
We, the members of the College Republicans at Arizona State University, in order to promote the principles, values, and ideas of the Republican Party, to aid in the election of Republican candidates at all levels of government, and to prepare them to fulfill their civic duty to the United States of America, the Republican Party, and to their community, do ordain and establish this Constitution of the College Republicans at Arizona State University.
Section 1: The name of this organization shall be the College Republicans at Arizona State University.
Section 2: This organization, being created under the Federation of the Arizona College Republicans and existing in the Federation of the College Republican National Committee, shall operate in accordance with the Arizona College Republicans and the College Republican National Committee.
Section 3: The organization named herein is an organization created by students of Arizona State University and will function to serve the students of Arizona State University and other community members.
Section 1: To make known and promote the principles, values, and ideas of the Republican Party among the students of Arizona State University and other members of the community.
Section 2: To aid in the election of Republican candidates at all levels of government.
Section 3: To develop within students the skills of leadership, service, and politics in order to prepare them for their future service to the United States of America, the Republican Party, and their community.
The Desert Tusk is now available in electronic form with new issues featuring the writings of your fellow CRs being released biweekly.
